Last week we went to Wheeler Farm with my two sisters-in-law and their kids. It was supposed to be 80 degrees that day, but it ended up being a little cold and windy. Skyler doesn't see his cousins much, and we were really looking forward to a fun afternoon. We walked around the park, looked at all the animals, and then ate some lunch (thanks to Melanie). McKenna was so excited about the ducks and was chasing them around the pond. The girls had fun playing in the water, and Skyler's favorite part of the day was walking on the picnic table bench. A baby goat scared him by bleating unexpectedly, and he talked about that for a while ("goat", "loud," "scared").
There were lots of baby animals, and Skyler really liked the goslings. A cow was in the same pen with the geese, and when it came near, the geese began hissing and sticking out their tongues (do geese have tongues?).
