Well, one of our laptops (the one with all the photos on it) has supposedly died. It won't even turn on. Steve is waiting for a new startup disk from Dell, and hopefully all our photos and music will still be there. That's all I'm really worried about. Carrie took a whole bunch of photos of Skyler getting his first "real" haircut at the barbers, but they're all on the computer. He sat on my lap eating suckers and was WAY better than I expected him to be. Unfortunately, there was hair stuck to his fingers and chin, and a long stream of drool ran down his barber cape. Since his haircut, Skyler talks about it all the time. His conversation goes like this, "cut, hair, sucker, loud." There are pauses between each word, but he is definitely telling me a story. "Loud" refers to the sound the buzz-cutter made. He is really starting to put words together, and some of his favorite two word combinations are "get it" (what he says when he wants me to get him something), "do it" (what he says when he wants to do it himself), and "oh me" (what he says when he wants to show me something". Today I took Skyler to the park, and he surprised me by saying "letter B" while pointing to Bountiful's mountain side "B". Steve must have taught him that one. (He also taught him "kill" and "dead" referring to the box elder bugs that somehow get in our house. Yay!) It is exciting to watch Skyler develop new skills, and he keeps us laughing at all the funny things he says.
