Anya turned 18 months old two weeks ago, and I wanted to share some fun facts about our cutie.
-She is soooo silly in the morning, and it's almost like she's putting on a show for us. She runs around in her crib from one side to the other. Then she falls down, laughs at herself, gets up, and does it again.
-She sleeps with Kitty, Ruff Ruff, and two blankets (bankies). She also sleeps on her back.
-Her favorite book is Goodnight Moon, and she calls it by name. She chimes in on her favorite parts ("young mouse", "hush", "cow . . . moon").
-She loves dogs and she spots them everywhere. Today a car drove by with a dog in the front seat, and she didn't stop saying "doggy" for 10 minutes.
-She speaks 3 word sentences like "take socks off," and today she said "do it self."
-She calls Skyler, "Syler Byler."
-She's obsessed with my friend Monica (she calls her Mog-in-a), and prefers her over Steve or me.
-Her favorite foods are avocado, banana, yogurt, pretzels, and chips (thanks to her dad).
-She loves books and "reads" to herself by laying on her back, holding the book over her head.
-Anya has no separation anxiety. She gladly goes to random adults, sits on their laps, hugs them, and would probably go home with them- no problem.
-Her favorite songs are "Five Little Monkeys" and "Rock-a-Bye-Baby". She likes to play the piano with me, but she won't sit on my lap to do it. She has to be sitting next to me as she likes her space.
-She just figured out how to take lids off markers.
-Splashing in the bath is one of her favorite activities.
