Anya is 15 months old! She is keeping us busy in so many ways. She loves to crawl up stairs, but she thinks she can walk down them forward-facing. Because of our awesome baby gate, she's only fallen down the stairs once. She loves to close doors and often goes into the laundry room, closes the door, and just stands there in the dark. Most toddlers would cry and bang on the door, but she just quietly waits. Unfortunately, sometimes we can't find her. She surprised us today with three new words- penguin, flower, and bunny. But her favorite word is ahpah which she uses for "apple", "balloon", and I think "baby". She loves to steal things from Skyler and then run away, and she's gained a lot of speed in the last few weeks. She loves to read books and brings you one after another. She hands the book to you, turns around, and then backs into your lap. She loves her kitty. She bites her nose and walks around with Kitty in her mouth. She recently learned to climb up on the futon and would hang out there all day if she could. We love you Anya!
