Skyler is so animated and full of energy. He has various costumes (fireman, football, bear, penguin, cowboy, astronaut, Buzz Lightyear, pirate, motocross) all of which he seems to wear at some time on any given day. He LOVES to pretend and is very into the details and props of his "play world". Right now, he has a restaurant called "Castle Cat McDonald's" and he made signs and a menu. He also has paper sacks, a cardboard stove, and plastic food. He makes me pull up to the drive-through window and he always takes my order in a very deep voice. "What do you want? We don't have pizza, and there's only one chicken nugget because the people ate all of them."He loves to pretend he's working and often says, "I have a lot of work to do" as he is loading up his tool belt, or typing on his little "computer". He loves to pull all the cushions off the couch and use them to make motorcycles, bear caves, moving vans, ambulances, rockets, and bird nests. He is also a perfectionist and is very particular about how he wants things to be (stubborn and strong-willed).

Some of Skyler's favorites are:
Food-hamburgers, chocolate milk, juice, waffles, scrambled eggs, quesadillas with sour cream and ketchup, yogurt w/cottage cheese, blueberry cobbler, any kind of fruit
Books-Cars, Trucks and Things that Go, Little Critter books, In a Dark, Dark, Wood, The Biggest Pumpkin Ever
Songs- "Mud Puddle", "I Love the Mountains", "Ghosts and Goblins," and any other Halloween songs
Tv shows- Olivia, Max and Ruby, Word World, Busy Town Mysteries
Skyler sleeps with his Twilight Turtle, a nightlight, and the hall light on (which we turn off when we go to bed). He loves his stuffed Puppy and his spot blanket. His other favorite stuffed animals are Mousie and Other Puppy. He is a great sleeper and sleeps in until about 8:00 A.M. Then he plays by himself for about 1/2 hour before he asks for chocolate milk. After he gets his chocolate milk, he watches one of his favorite shows and then eats breakfast. He loves Anya and likes to crawl behind her making her laugh as he chases her. Steve introduced Skyler to an app on his phone which makes light saber sounds if you swing the phone around. Skyler LOVES it, and consequently has learned all the main characters of Star Wars.
He is doing awesome learning his letters and sounds and will even write them if he deems it worthwhile (for a sign, a map, or Christmas list). Way to go Skyler! We love you!
