Hi everyone! My name is Anya, and I'm 8 months old. I just learned how to crawl 1 week ago, and I'm getting faster every day. I can now go wherever I want-in the kitchen (where I bonk my head on the hardwood floors), over to the computer (where I chew on the cord), to Skyler's toys (which he really doesn't want me touching), and over to the big mirror in Mom's and Dad's room (and of course I pull on it). Tonight before bed, I even pulled myself to standing. Learning all this stuff is awesome! I crawl really well, but sometimes I drag my foot which leaves me with carpet burns on my toes. Ouch! Mom can't put socks on me because they just fall off.
I also recently learned to clap, and I love playing Pat-a-Cake.
Lately I've been screaming a lot just to listen to my voice. My mom and dad give me lots of attention when I yell so of course, I keep doing it. I'm still not eating very much. My mom spends most of her day trying to get me to eat. I must admit, I'm a little picky. Sometimes I want warm food, and other times I want it cold. Sometimes I want a bottle, and other times I only want my mama. My favorite thing to eat right now is Cheerios.
