Last week we went swimming with Carrie and Malia. Public swimming pools really gross me out. All those bodies with all levels of hygiene, strange smells, wet floors in the bathroom, babies in diapers, floating who-knows-what. But going to the pool is a part of childhood, and who am I to deny Skyler all the "fun". The pool was PACKED with people, and they were blasting loud music. There were a few slides that Skyler loved, but unfortunately a kid threw up right next to the slide stairs. His mom said, "He must have drunk too much pool water." Then she picked him up and put him right back into the water. What? Shouldn't he go sit on the side for a while? We were only there for about an hour, but it was enough for Skyler and Malia (oh, and me). I was grateful to have Carrie's help because again, pools aren't my thing.
Here is Malia in her new dress/cover-up and Skyler who is so happy whenever he is with his cousin.

Anya wouldn't wear the sunglasses, but she did like chewing on the strap.
