Pocatello visit

I took Skyler and Anya up to Pocatello a few weeks ago for a long-overdue visit to my parent's. Scot's family also came up the same weekend, and it was great to spend some time with those cute kids. Chandler had grown so much since the last time we saw him. When he was two, I remember snuggling on the couch with him to eat popcorn and watch Scooby Doo. Now he's taller than me.

Anya was pretty happy sitting on JulieAnn's lap.
Saskia is a year older than Skyler, and this is the first time that they really played together. She is such a cutie.
Unfortunately Anya got pinkeye from the visit, and we had to give her eye drops for almost 2 weeks (it wouldn't go away). Skyler didn't get it though which is good because I never would have been able to get drops in his eyes.

Part of the reason for the trip was to visit my grandpa in the rehabilitation center where he's been since he broke his leg a few months ago. It was good to see him though there wasn't much communication. Because Grandpa can't hear, we have to write down everything we want to say on a white board, and it's tiring for him to have a "conversation". I did get to introduce him to Anya and tell him I love him. I debated whether or not I should take a photo, but I'm glad I did.
