He always gets up before Steve and me and usually comes downstairs to check things out before coming into our room to wake us up. This morning, I heard him downstairs singing loudly, "I love Valentine's Day" over and over. His grandma had sent him a card which we told him he couldn't open until V-Day. I came downstairs to see the envelope ripped open and the card on the table. There was a chair pushed up to the cupboard and a sucker wrapper on the ground. He said, "I just had my valentine's day treat Momma." Ha, ha! I love how excited he is about everything and how fun it is to do things together. We ate pink pancakes for breakfast, and I was going to dye the scrambled eggs pink too, but I thought they would probably look too gross.

Steve got me some lovely tulips and 3 chocolate bars, and I made him some lemon bars. (Like either of us need more treats, but we didn't complain :) Our cute neighbors got Anya and Skyler little stuffed animals and cards.
