Christmas Fun

We did a lot of fun things this year for Christmas. We put up the tree and all the decorations on the day after Thanksgiving. The holidays went by so fast last year, and I wasn't ready for it all to be over come January. So this year I wanted to drag it out as long as possible. Skyler loved all the decorations, especially our advent calendar which he was sooooo excited about. Every night before going to bed, he would ask what number he got to look in the for the next day. He definitely had favorite treats, and some of the days had money in them which he didn't care about at all.

We made beaded Christmas ornaments for both Grandmas (yes, Skyler made them himself).

Skyler made gingerbread houses with his friend Peyton (well actually Steve did most of the decorating, and Skyler did most of the eating. Good work Steve!).

We went to Layton City Park to look at the light display. It was cold, but Skyler loved it. We wrapped Anya really well, and Steve carried her in the pouch.

Steve's mom and dad visited us for Christmas this year.
Because I haven't been working, I've been able to do lots of things that I enjoy doing, but never have time for anymore (like sewing). I made Anya's Christmas stocking, and am proud that I actually got it done before Christmas.
