Forks are Dangerous
On Friday Skyler poked his eye with a fork. He cried and his eye was watering and sensitive to light, but because we couldn't really see the damage, we assumed he probably just grazed it. Well hours later (4 to be exact), his eye was still watering. I noticed something in his eye and asked him to blink over and over again, and the "thing" was still in his eye. Come to find out it was a poke hole. I took Skyler to the eye doctor who put something in his eye to allow us to see any scratches. Well, we could see two poke holes- one next to the colored part and one in his pupil (cornea). Luckily the damage didn't go into the inner layers of the eye and Skyler's eye will be fine. His pupil was dilated for three days, and he had to have antibiotic drops (he called the eyedrops "eyeballs"). Skyler hated the eyedrops, and he kept saying, "No, doctor don't do it."
