Skyler's 2nd Birthday

Skyler's birthday was soooo fun this year! We are so thankful to be the parents of a happy, energetic, helpful, and loving little two year old! He loves singing "Happy Birthday", and the week of his birthday I had been teaching him about cakes and candles. He carried the candles around in his hand for days, and Steve kept finding them stashed around the house. My birthday was like a practice birthday for him. He was so excited when he came downstairs in the morning and he saw balloons tied to his chair, and of course opening presents was a thrill.

What's in this box?

In the morning Skyler helped make his cake which of course, had to have trucks on it.

After making the cake, we went out to play in the sandbox which Skyler's dad lovingly built.

In the evening Carrie, Layne, Veronica, Tanner, Melanie, and all the kids came over for a barbecue/birthday party. We had a good time, and I came to the conclusion that we do not see each other enough.
